Roads Frame the View
I paint the world I see. However, what I see is often heartbreaking. In my community there are increasing numbers of unhoused people and skyrocketing numbers of addiction and overdoses. Schools, hospitals, and local support systems are stretched beyond their limits, struggling to cope with the increased demand for help. Amid this backdrop, I paint roads. These roads, meant to connect us, have the power to both unite and isolate. We can connect and support each other, or we can remain detached and disconnected from each other.
